Half a helping Hand article

I read an article from Global Issue in context called "Half a helping hand." This article used the word "hardscrabble" to describe life in Haiti. This article talks about how Haiti is becoming an afterthought because many donors are done contributing to Haiti and are unhappy with the progress in Haiti. I disagree, I think that the situation in Haiti has improved and that there are still people eager to help, like me.
